march 2008-
mel told us she was pregnant!

september 2008-
hurricane ike ruined the luphers' home.

october 2008-

april 2010-
the lupher 3 get to move into their (beautiful renewed) home together!

today those things called "HAPPY TEARS" kept welling up in my eyes.
almost every morning i tell my daughter adelaide (as my mom always told me),
"this is the day that the Lord has made. i will rejoice and be glad in it."
(psalm 118:24)
and that is my prayer, that every day, regardless of circumstances, i REJOICE.
but today as i said these words i had to blink a few extra times.
because today my heart was OVERFLOWING with joy.
i have prayed and longed for witt's homecoming.
i have tried to imagine what that day would be like.
and TODAY was that wonderful day!
it was pretty much INCREDIBLE to see the luphers
at HOME hanging out in their living room.
and as you can see by the picture of these 3 cousins,
i wasn't the only one overflowing with JOY!

I'm not sure I've ever seen a more beautiful picture!! I'm so glad Annalee posted this. I've been thinking of you guys all day long! WHAT JOY!!!

Witt's hanging out on his own sofa in his own home. Sounds like a small thing... UNLESS you have followed his life's story... he is truly a miracle. And the rest of you Lupher's & McCord's have raised the bar so high on how to do it God's way, that I for one, am going to have to RUN to try and catch up!!

HUGE hugs tonight!!!

What a glorious homecoming! What a wonderful loving God who gives such beautiful blessings in HIS perfect timing! Oh how we praise Him and love Him! We can only imagine the joy (smiles and tears) in he Lupher home today with this celebration. We have certainly had them here in Africa as we rejoice with you!!!We pray for each of you today and especially for Melanie, Austan, and Precious Witt as they settle into their "new" home! We know God has each of you wrapped securely in His loving arms as He continues His mighty work in all of our lives.
"The joy of the Lord is your strength!" Nehemiah 8:10
We love you all so very much!
