Witt is not feeling well at all. His sodium is down even more. They are also watching closely his urine output. That needs to go up as well. Witt's creatinine level has started an upward trend which can reflect kidney function but it is most likely because of dehydration and Motrin (that's been stopped). Witt threw up around 3am and didn't fall asleep till 6. He cried a lot and finally fell asleep with Mel holding him in bed. His oxygen is turned up to 3/4 for now too. Witt is pretty pale so the doctor had blood drawn to also check for anemia. I'll be honest here...I am fighting being down. I am fighting to even make it to the Throne of Grace. I know that Christ Himself is fighting for me. I know that Christ Himself will carry me there. Witt needs an upward turn in his condition and I too just need an upward turn to Him! Please pray for Witt and all of us. Christ who is Our Hope has not and will not disappoint us! I pray that I will continue to dwell in the shelter of the Most High, so that I will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, "My Refuge and my Fortress, My God, in whom I trust!"

God will not forsake you! He is faithful ALWAYS! I know that you know this more than most. This has been such a long process and you have amazed us all...you have inspired us to worship more and cling to our Father tighter as we watch you do so in such a difficult situation. I am praying for our Witt, of course, but will especially be lifting you and sweet Mel today.
I love you so very much and would do anything I could to take away your pain.

~Hear my cry O God; Attend to my prayer.
From the end of the earth I will cry to You,
When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
For You have been a shelter for me,
A strong tower from the enemy.
I will abide in your tabernacle forever;
I will trust in the shelter of Your wings.~ Psalms 60:1&2
I am sending this prayer up for y'all and will hold you close to my heart.

Praying without ceasing. Please, God, give Mel, Austan, Karen and all their family your peace and strength that only comes from you. Touch precious Witt's body and help him to get better. Give the doctors the wisdom to do what is best for Witt. Our God IS in CONTROL!

Karen and Mel:
All along it is God alone who has given you the hearts and faith to continue this journey with Witt, even on the days that I have wondered if I would have been able, you have carried on. Today, it is the prayers of all of us who love you and walk along side, that will be the link to heaven that it is hard to even voice when you are so weary in mind and body. GOD KNOWS that, and HE is listening to our prayers and the cries of your hearts, and...... HIS answer is on the way!
I love you both.
