HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY, MELANIE!

Hallelujah...Glory to God! What a special day this Mother's Day is! I thought Mother's Day was great with my own kids but to be able to celebrate it with my daughter and her child and with my daughter-in-law and her child...AMAZING! Melanie's first Mother's Day...by the grace of God. There is no doubt that Witt's life will always be abundant. In fact, right now its 2am and Melanie is up with Witt. His stomach is pretty upset. He actually threw up a couple of hours ago which for Witt can be very harmful. His last pneumonia was a direct result of aspirating on his throw up. Melanie talked the the pulmonary doctor on call. She said there isn't much she could do. Just keep an eye on his oxygen saturation. If it drops, Witt would be given the antibiotic to fight pneumonia. Please pray that his lungs are actually healing. His surgery for the gtube is scheduled for a week from Monday but not if his lungs aren't better. Anyway, as I stated in a post a couple of days ago, what is truly amazing and simply the hand of God is that this house is still full of laughter and joy...the joy of motherhood. Doctor's appointments, talking to doctors, even ER visits and hospital stays are somewhat the norm but so is life filled with joy...abundant life! Thank You, God, for this Mother's Day. Thank You for Melanie. Thank You for Witt.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY, MELANIE. YOU ARE ONE OF THE MOST COURAGEOUS MOMS I KNOW!

You are truly walking out God's calling for your life. I continue to be amazed by you on a daily basis...you inspire me constantly. I'm most grateful, though, that you continue to share that gorgeous smile of yours...God shines through you, Melski! I love you so very much.

Happy Mother's Day, Melanie! If anyone deserves Mother of the Year, it's you, Mel!

You are a wonderful mother. You have been so patient and graceful during this time. I truly admire you. I only hope I can be as half as wonderful as you are, when I become a mother.

Happy Mother's Day, Melanie! To be a mom is truly a precious blessing from God. He shares His perfect little baby with each of us moms. He chose you to be the special MOM for precious Witt. He knew out of all the people in the world YOU were the PERFECT Mommy (and Austan, the Perfect Daddy)for Witt. God is truly amazing! You have walked a walk that few of us have walked, yet you do it with such strong faith, determination,
and joy. Yes, JOY!!! I see it in your beautiful smile and the way you touch your precious baby boy, Witt. You are living the verses "Be still and Know that I am God", "Be content in ALL circumstances!"," I can do all things through Christ Who stengthens me!" and so many more. God has strenghened you, Mel, but He has also shown me so many things and helped me to grow stronger in my own walk with Him. Thank you, Sweet Cousin, for allowing me to walk with you on this journey, to hold, Witt, you and your family in my prayers and to trust God completely. Hannah prayed and prayed to have a child. God blessed her with a precious baby boy, Samuel. Hannah experienced the greatest joy in having a child and giving that child completely and freely back to God so that Samuel would completely serve the Lord. You have done the same with Witt. My oh my, how that precious baby has touched so many. It's like the fingerprints of God touching each one of our hearts throuh Witt.
Happy First Mother's Day, Mel. May you feel the joy and love that we all have for you and your family.
Love,
Gayle
