UPDATE AFTER DOCTOR APPOINTMENT
Witt's visit to the pulmonary doctor (hypertension specialist) today went well! The doctor said that Witt's lungs sound much better. He thinks the drop in oxygen is just because he is slightly anemic and because he is sick, nothing major. He told Austan and Melanie to leave the oxygen turned up for a couple of days while he heals. Thank you for praying!

Hi, I found your blog when reading several of the Round Top blogs (for the upcoming show)... won't be going this year and thought I'd sorta follow it online!). Anyhow the first thing I thought after reading a bit about your grandson, Witt, was to wonder if he has PH... then, of course, after reading several old entries, realize he does. So do I (thought I'm way to the other end of the age spectrum...) and wanted to let you and Witt's parents know about the PHA (Pulmonary Hypertension Association) group in case you've not heard of it. They are a very active support group across the world and have a great website with links to anything PH related (including an active support group for parents of children with PH). Unfortunately there are lots of parents in the group... I think you all might like sharing information with other parents. It helps so much to learn what others are going through. BTW, one of our members is about 35 yrs old and has lived with PH all her life... there are improvements happening every day in PH. The URL is www.phassociation.org. There is also a great book published by PHA which is helpful for understanding PH and all the ramifications of the disease. Good luck with your baby. JeannieTX (and have fun at Round top!)
