SUNDAY UPDATE

Witt's iv had to be replaced today because it was leaking. Unfortunately, they had a very difficult time replacing it and Witt wasn't given any of his meds as they tried and tried. They were finally able to get an iv in his head and he is resting now! The heart tap is still scheduled for early tomorrow morning but we are asking God to bring glory to Christ by removing the fluid!!!

To Mel and Austan...
i am praying for you and hope to hear the good news about your precious baby! i don't think there is anything in the world harder than seeing your child go through something like this! we have had our medical trials with Alli and iv's and tests and as a parent it breaks your heart, even though you know it is what has to be done to help your baby! the ONLY thing you can do is comfort him and lean on your Heavenly Father to keep you calm and to give you strength to get through this! and He will!!! i wil keep praying for you Mel as his mama to be able to comfort him in a way that only "mama" can, and Austan to be the strong arms to hold Mel when she feels she can't take it anymore and to keep your eyes on the cross which is the glue that will hold your family together, Witt to fight his hardest and get rid of what is harming his weet little body, the rest of the family to surround the Luphers with love, and prayers and help keep there chin's up....i love you all and we are here if you need anything! Thank you in advance Lord for this miraculous recovery...in Jesus name-
AMEN

Our hearts and prayers are with you. We are praying for strength, peace, comfort, rest, and God's perfect will. We are trusting God completely and thanking Him for taking care of Witt and the family. We are thanking Him for Witt's precious parents who are leaning on God and relying on the strength of the Lord in all circumstances.Father, it is sometimes so hard,as humans, to walk "by faith" when we can't see or understand what You are doing. Yet, we know You are our Rock. We know that YOU are HERE right now, this very moment. You are in CONTROL. Father, give each of us through the power of Your Holy Spirit, the strength to trust YOU for the things we don't understand and the things that don't make sense to us. Give us the strength to keep our eyes focused on You and not on how things look or feel right now. We trust YOU and know that YOU are in control.
I know God will hold all of you tightly in the palm of His hands as He carries you through this storm to the beauty of the rainbow on the other side.
We love you all very much.

We are praying today that the Lord would remove the fluid from around Witt's heart and help him to improve in every way, and that He would give Mel and Austan a special measure of the peace that only He can give at this very difficult time. God bless you all and keep you in His care.
Love,
The Murff Family
