PRAYER REQUEST

The echocardiogram this evening showed that the fluid has increased around Witt's heart. Because of this setback, the breathing tube will not be removed tomorrow and they have sedated him again. They are planning to tap the fluid off of Witt's heart on Monday. While the cardiologist didn't seem "alarmed" this news is very distressing to Mel, Austan and all of Witt's family. Please join us in petitioning God to remove the fluid before Monday!

"Our hope comes from God. May He fill you with joy and peace because of your trust in Him. May your hope grow stronger by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13

We are continuing to pray for Witt (including several people at our church). We are trusting God to heal little Witt. We pray for wisdom for the Doctors as they treat Witt. We pray in the Mighty name of JESUS for the fluid to leave Witt's heart before Monday. We pray for Mel and Austan and the rest of the family to have peace, hope and joy in the midst of this. We pray for comfort and strength each time you you are able to see Witt.

I love you all very much and I want you to know we are standing in the gap for Witt and the rest of the family.
Love,
Alicia

Father God, maker of the universe, we put little Witt in your hands, knowing that you who made the mighty seas and high mountains can take care of all the fluid on his heart. Drain the fluid, Lord and make him whole.-Kay

Steady on, sweet family; be strong in the knowledge that God our King never leaves His throne, yet also never departs from our side, refusing to abandon us to fear. He is the Creator and Author of Witt's life. As much as we love him, God loves Him even more! Because of that love, all things are possible with Him, through Him and because of Him. Remember all that God has accomplished thus far in "our" precious baby's life. Truly His plan is perfect and His grace is constant! How miraculous that He empowers us to stand up to anything--especially the unknown--in confidence, hope and trust, because we know Him as the one, true God. We are mighty because He hears our prayers. He alone is worthy of our praise. Thank you, God! Bless this baby mightily, sweet Jesus; fill this family with Your peace. I love you!
