Today we went to the urologist for the results of Witt's ultrasound. The doctor said nothing has changed...there is still some reflux and some swelling in one of the ureters. The good news is it has not gotten any worse and it will be looked at again in 3 months. However, the ultrasound showed that there could be the possibility of kidney disease. We don't know any more than this. The urologist did say that what he saw does not always mean that there is disease but wants Witt to be seen by the renal specialists at Texas Children. They drew blood today to see what his creatinine level is. We don't have those results back. Witt will go to the renal specialists sometime in January. We continue to be where we have always been in Witt's life...thanking God, seeking His face, and relying on His strength. What we don't know God does know. And even what we do know God can change. It is with praise and thanksgiving that we go before God and ask Him to continue to heal Witt...to perfect his kidneys. I ask and trust God to accomplish this in the way that brings Him infinite glory!
In other news... today was Witt's first nap in his big boy crib!

Prayers sent.
We are continuing to prayer for complete healing for Witt and for continued strength for Austan and Mel. Love you all. Alicia
Dear Family of Witt,
I have been following your blog since Theresa of Garden Antqs Vintage posted it. This evening after reading your post, while seeking the Lord, these scriptures came to mind about the power of the prayer of agreement, Ecclesiastes 3:12, and Matthew 18:19.
I will be praying and agreeing with you for Witt's healing, and strength and revelation for all of you.
I know God's strong power. He healed me 5 years ago from an aneurysm that was a death sentence. I give Him abundant praise for His Holy and infinite power.
God is with you.
Much love, in Jesus Strong Name,
Debra
We will have you in our prayers. Your blog is truly inspirational, as is little Witt's life.
God Bless you!
Maggie
Witt looks so cozy in his big boy crib!
I remember when our foster son had blood drawn at 2 weeks old...no fun...your little guy has been through so much! I'm praying and trusting God to clear any problems with his kidneys.
I like what you said about what we don't know God does and what we do know God can change...SO true! We serve a mighty God!
Thank you for keeping posted for Witt. I will continue to pray for him too. "whatsoever we ask, believing, we will receive..." Even though the doctors are giving their reports of what they find, and treating for such, their report is not the final, because we can believe the report of the Lord - We are healed! He is so precious and the Lord knows every hair on his head. Blessings and strength to all of you! Carrell
