Thursday, 11:00pm

They are running a battery of tests on Witt right now to determine why all of his "numbers" are "off." Everything is "out of whack" and just not making medical sense. He is on the ventilator and has a central line inserted.

It has been a whirlwind since this afternoon when he was moved to the cardiology floor and quickly went doesn't seem that the move was the cause but the culmination of too much fluid build-up. As we have said before, it requires a very delicate balance of fluids with Witt...he had been dehydrated we know so they had him on double the normal amount of fluids and no diuretics at all. By the time he was brought back down to PICU his blood sugar and heart rate were way fact, his blood sugar was dangerously was 23, dropped to 8 and then dropped to 4. It is now up to 129, thank God. But, everything is still way off...even his potassium is low now.

Again, we are so proud of Mel and Austan and the strength they are showing through this. They are by Witt's bedside now and are sending updates as they can. We will keep you posted...until then, please just pray that God reveals Himself and the answers to this amazing team of medical professionals that are working with our sweet Witt.

Oh Cheryl, I am praying for Witt right now. Also, praying for Mel and Austan. Praying God will do a miracle again with this sweet little guy and be total peace, comfort and strength for Mel and Austan. Love you all. This is when it is so hard to be on the other side of the world!

Throughout the night, God would awaken me to pray for Witt, Mel, and Austan. In my Bible study, I was reading Habakkuk. Just as he didn't understand the why, he did know to trust God. "Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. the Sovereign Lord is my strength..."
Even though we can't see what God is doing, we can see Him. In our even thoughs______, we can say...Yet will I trust in God! Thank you Lord for letting us hold your hand in the darkness and KNOW that YOU are the Sovereign Lord who is the Blessed Controller of ALL things!!! We thank You, Father, for your grace. We thank You for holding Sweet Witt in Your loving healing hands just as You hold his precious parents. Heavenly Father, Witt, Mel,and Austan are Yours. You are in their today just as you are in their tomorrows. We thank you for being in total control. We thank You for meeting Witt's needs and for giving each family member strength and peace. We can go forward because You are with us.

You are in our hearts and our prayers!
