Happy "News" Year!
Happy New Year! Witt is doing much better. His oxygen has been turned down quite a bit. The doctor said his lungs look much better AND once again the cardiologists said his heart is great and not causing any of this! The doctor also said we will be able to remain on this floor with a higher level of care until Witt is ready to go home. We don't know when that will be yet but he is once again getting better. I can't imagine the amazing plans that our amazing God has for each and every one of us in 2009. I pray that we all seek to walk in His plans this year!

Hello! I'm new to following Witt's life, but I wanted to tell you how inspiring this blog is. My son also has an extremely rare genetic disorder (4th or 5th diagnosed case in the US) and is ventilator bound through a trach (I'm so glad Witt is off the vent!!!). It has been wonderful to read through these posts and see God's hand in all of his life. I need to be doing the same with my little boy. Thank you for helping me along the way back to God--through the year we have struggled with Dakin's diagnosis, I had all but lost my faith. I am coming back, though. It's wonderful to see you guys so upbeat and faithful. Thank you for your example.
