THE POWER OF PRAYER!!

In the morning, between 7:30 - 9:00 am, Witt will be taken to have his stomach checked. We are specifically praying that his stomach will begin to start digesting normally between now and the test. There is a possibility that there is blockage and that could be af setback from moving forward. We know that God is constantly showing himself to us through Witt's progress thus far. We are fervently praying tonight that HIS glory will be clearly seen in the test and the results. Our comfort and peace is resting on the promise that God's will is about healing the weak, the tired and those in need. Oh Father, please amaze us with your love and tender hand on the body of a child who knows only Your hand thus far.

Your prayer and support tonight and tomorrow are needed more than ever for Witt. Witt's parents, Melanie and Austan thank you for your continued love.

I am praying for Witt's stomach to begin to function properly. I pray for the miracle that the blockage would be gone and he can start to enjoy the benefits of his mother's milk. I give the Lord all the praise and all the glory for Witt's little life. I praise God for all He has done through Witt during his 1st week of life here on earth. Witt has touched so many hearts and God has been glorified through little Witt as well as all of you who are there beside him each day.

I pray the Lord will give the doctors wisdom and knowledge to know the best way to treat Witt. I am praying for healing over his whole body. Most of all I am praying for God's perfect will to be done. For God's perfect peace to comfort. For God's strength to carry Austan and Mel through this journey each day.

Here are a few scriptures the Lord took me to this morning...

Isaiah 53:5 He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.

James 5:16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

Malachi 4:2 But to you who fear My name the Son of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings.

Isaiah 58:8 Your light shall break forth like the morning, your healing shall spring forth speedily, and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.

Know that I will continue to pray for Witt throughout this day. He is loved!!! I am so thankful for His life and I am so in awe of Austan and Mel's strength, which I know only comes from the Lord. I praise God for their relationship with our Heavenly Father. It is evident in the way they love and care for their precious son.

I wait with anticipation to see the great things God has in store for today.

Love you guys,
Alicia
