Karen just came from Witt's room and the doctor has been called to check on Witt's breathing. With his tube out since this morning, Witt is now having a little harder time getting the right number of breaths. Please be praying...
Just an update...Austan came out and said they are going to give Witt a little help breathing, his lungs are doing well, but they are going to give him some assistance in the nasal area.

My love and every thought are with each of you. How amazing that such amazing power can arrive in such a tiny gift from Heaven! I wish so much that I could be there with you right now, my sweet friend, but what a comfort to know that God Himself is standing beside you and your incredible family each moment. Hello, Lupher family - I am a friend of Annalee's (we went to high school together). My son is in Annalee's mom's preschool class. I just wanted you to know that you have been constantly on my heart since I read about Witt last night. I have posted a message about Witt on my blog, sent an email prayer request to many close friends and families, and shared Witt's story at my prayer group tonight. There are at least 10 families in Abilene who are lifting you up at this time, and our prayers will continue.
I cannot tell you how incredibly encouraged I have been by your posts about Witt and your family. Each family member's words have touched my heart as I envision all of you surrounding Mel, Austan and Witt with a love that goes beyond what could ever be verbalized or written. A love and hope that comes from the Creator of life!
I just wanted you all to know that I am in constant prayer for all of you and thank you for taking the time to share Witt's story with all of us. Please let us know any specific things we can be praying for!
