We pray for blessings
We pray for peace
Comfort for family, protection while we sleep
We pray for healing, for prosperity
We pray for Your mighty hand to ease our suffering
All the while, You hear each spoken need
Yet love us way too much to give us lesser things
Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops
What if Your healing comes through tears
What if a thousand sleepless nights
Are what it takes to know You’re near
What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise

Witt has a horn on his cart. Adelaide honked it whenever she found an animal from her list!
Witt is home for Christmas and Santa Claus found him!!! I can’t fully explain the joy and gratitude that I have for Witt being home. At the same time I am reminded of the priceless lessons that God taught me the last two Christmases. First, Christmas really is about Christ and that can be celebrated anywhere…even in a hospital. Maybe more importantly God showed me that through Him you can have joy no matter what your circumstances. I can worship Him in all my circumstances because of who He is and not where I am. I can’t imagine what it must have been like on that first Christmas, when Christ was born but I can tell you that on this first Christmas home for Witt I find myself simply bowed down and thanking God that under His sovereignty Witt’s third Christmas is spent out of the hospital. Today I celebrate the birth of Christ and this year that celebration is taking place at home!!
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” - Isaiah 9:6
I was born on October 23, 2008. I weighed 5 pounds, 5 ounces and was 19 inches long. Austan and Melanie Lupher are my loving parents here on Earth. My heavenly Father is sharing me with them. I am a miracle and a blessing to countless.
